康园路跨杭钢河桥由杭州市城乡建设设计院股份有限公司桥梁专业总工程工程师汪学著主持设计。大桥历时两年建成，门式刚架桥结构受力复杂，一般只适用于中小型桥梁。为适应杭州市亚运会皮划艇赛道和工业遗产的要求，该桥选择单跨100米变截面钢梁门式刚架桥，主梁采用钢梁结构，门式墩采用预应力混凝土结构，主梁两侧设置人行观景平台。
